The recordings belong to your family, permanently. Long after the book is printed, we keep the original audio safe and you can ask for a copy at any time. Three choices, and they are yours: hand the files to a family member you name, leave them encrypted with us, or delete everything for good.
If they pass away partway through, we still make the book. Whatever was recorded is what the book holds. Nobody gets to record it again, which is exactly why what already exists has to be kept properly.

Your family decides. Chinese and English side by side, all Chinese, all English, or another language on request.
The register is yours to choose too. Either we keep their spoken words as they said them, or we write the book in formal written Chinese, which reads with more gravity and will not sound dated to a grandchild. We do both, and neither is the right answer.
One thing worth knowing: the QR beside a quote plays that line in their own voice. Keep the spoken words and the page matches the recording exactly. Choose formal written Chinese and the two drift a little apart. If you want both, we can keep the quotes verbatim and write the rest formally. Just tell us when you order.
