第一本KIORY，唔係為咗生意整嘅。係為咗我自己屋企整嘅。
我想俾媽媽一份禮物，唔係手袋，唔係首飾，係一樣佢自己都冇諗過嘅嘢：一本用返佢自己把聲、寫低佢自己一生嘅書。
相片會有，故仔識得講，但把聲呢？冇人特登留低過。
於是我哋一齊坐低，慢慢傾，錄低佢由細到大嘅故事，之後整成一本書。穿線精裝，每一章一個QR，一掃就聽返佢把聲。
見到嗰刻，先知呢樣嘢有幾重要。相片會褪色，字會舊，但把聲聽落去，佢就好似坐喺你隔籬咁樣。
KIORY呢個名，係kioku（記憶）同story（故事）夾埋。個「記」印，就係嗰種意思：記低，記住。
而家我哋想幫多啲屋企做返同一樣嘢。用返我哋整媽媽嗰本書嘅心機，同我哋整緊嘅工具，等你都可以喺屋企，用WhatsApp，錄低你屋企人嘅故事。
香港整，畀香港嘅屋企。
The first KIORY book wasn't made as a business. It was made for my own family.
I wanted to give my mother something no handbag or piece of jewellery could be: a book written in her own voice, telling her own life.
Photos exist. Stories get told at dinner. But no one had ever deliberately kept her voice.
So we sat down together, talked slowly, and recorded her stories from childhood onward. Then we turned it into a book. Sewn binding, a QR on every chapter, scan it and hear her voice.
That's the moment I understood how much it mattered. Photos fade, words get old, but hearing her voice, it's like she's sitting right next to you.
The name KIORY comes from kioku (記憶, memory) and story, blended together. The 記 seal carries that same meaning: to record, to remember.
Now we want to help more families do the same. The same care that went into my mother's book, plus the tools we've built since, so you can do it at home, over WhatsApp, in your own time.
