第一本 KIORY 唔係一盤生意。嗰本書，只係整畀我媽媽。
啲相我一早見過，有啲故仔亦聽過。一直冇人留低嘅，係佢講故事嗰個方式。
所以我哋一齊坐低。我由佢細個住過嘅地方開始問，佢慢慢講，我慢慢錄。
後來，嗰啲錄音變成一章一章。舊相放返入屬於佢嘅年份，精選句子旁邊印上一個小小嘅「記」。掃一下，就聽返佢當時親口點講。
本書完成嗰日，我第一次明白，我想留低嘅唔止係媽媽發生過咩事。我想留低嘅，係佢。
KIORY 呢個名，係 kioku（記憶）同 story（故事）放埋一齊。個「記」印，意思就係咁簡單：記低，唔好唔記得。
而家，我哋用同一份心機幫其他屋企。你負責問一條只有你先識問嘅問題。我哋負責將答案好好放入一本書。
The first KIORY book was not a business idea. It was simply a book for my mother.
I knew the photographs. I had heard some of the stories. What we had never kept was the way she told them.
So we sat down together. I began with the places she remembered from childhood. She talked slowly, and I recorded her.
Those recordings became chapters. The old photographs returned to the years they belonged to. Beside selected lines, we printed a small 記 seal. Scan it and you hear her telling that moment herself.
When the book was finished, I understood that I had wanted to keep more than the events of my mother's life. I wanted to keep something of her.
The name KIORY joins kioku, the Japanese word for memory, with story. The 記 seal carries a simple instruction: record it, so it is not forgotten.
Now we bring the same care to other families. You ask the question only you would know to ask. We give the answer a place in a book.
